Holga inspired work

So, I have been doing a lot of Holga inspired creations lately and some of you may be tired of seeing them, but it is getting me creating again and you can’t go wrong with that. I just uploaded six of these Holga inspired images to the Digital Art section. Some of these images are up on my Flickr page, but some are brand new. Exciting, right?
A side note: I just got back from a trip to Western North Carolina, where I took a lot of photographs, so more work will be coming as inspiration hits. There will be a few with the Holga feel and a few won’t, so there should be something for everyone. Well, for everyone who likes my art.
And a word of advice: Don’t use markers on a computer screen. It is just a bad idea all around.
Tumblr and Flickr

Because I need something else to update and keep track of, I have gotten myself a Tumblr account. So far, I am finding it fun and easy to update. You can check it out here: http://treycrim.tumblr.com
I have continued working on some Holga inspired creations and have posted several of them to my Flickr account. You can see the images in the slideshow below, but if you want to see them in all of there glory, i.e. larger, just go to: http://bit.ly/cz8MAf
I will have some more Holga inspired creations uploaded to this site early next week, so keep an eye out for those.
Another thing, Pancakes are yummy. Just throwing that out there for you to think about.
Random Creation

I have been working on several different creations. Thanks to technology, I can make one of my images have a Holga Camera twist without having to actually take it with a cheap hipster camera. Instead, I use the expensive tools of Photoshop and my computer to make it have a Holga Camera feel. Here is a sample of one of the more recent creations:
I know shooting this piece with a Holga Camera would create a true organic affect, but I was able to capture the look I was going for with my digital camera and Photoshop.
New Site

So I have finally updated my site with new content. If you didn’t notice, I decided to redo the whole site too. This new site is kind of a merging of two older sites into one. I have included some of my paintings, photography and digital art on the site. I have also added a wallpapers section so you can get some of my work for yourself. And the best part is that the wallpapers are free. Anyways, I am hoping to update this site often with new work and other musings. Stay tuned.
